Wasaga Beach is a Canadian town at the southern end of Ontario’s Georgian Bay. Its long, sandy beach lies on Nottawasaga Bay, with views of the rugged Niagara Escarpment. It’s known for canoe routes on the winding Nottawasaga River. Nancy Island Historic Site, near the river’s mouth, commemorates the War of 1812. Footpaths and cycle trails crisscross Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, home to native wildlife.
